This place was pretty cute. I've been hearing good things about it from people who I've talked too about Saskatoon. Since I'll be here a lot in the upcoming months I definitely wanted to explore more local options.

This place is really busy I found! It have a cute patio that people enjoy sitting at. I saw dogs, babies, families, friends, students etc. all laughing and joking on the patio. Cute.

When you walk in there are two doors that both enter to the different sides of the cafe. At first it seems normal size, but then you look to the right side and there is actually a downstairs area to sit at, making the cafe pretty big. I can see why students like it because there is a good amount of outlets around to plug in your laptop. I came here with my boyfriend and we studied for a few hours.

I tried a cinnamon bun and a Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was flippin delicious!!! Seriously, I could have drank like 10 of them and been ready for #11! :) The cinnamon bun was pretty standard, but I had been craving one for some reason. So it hit the spot.

The service was pretty good. The two people working seemed nice enough, and they made good drinks.

Lastly, the price is really good. I think it was only $11.50 for the two of us to have large Vietnamese coffees and snacks. So that ain't bad if I do say so myself! I enjoyed my time here and will probably be back.

THE WEIRDEST. Why is there a grass hut inside? Why is there a microwave for customer use? What is going on with all the burlap sacks? Why does it cost an extra $0.30 to ice my americano? What the heck!? How do people still go here. The absurdity is astonishing. It smells funny. I was so confused by the entire experience.

    A comfortable cafe.
The coffee might not be the absolute best, but the comfort of the place, mixed in with the good service and location far out weigh the negative. That being said the coffee isn't bad at all its actually quite good, just not great.

I would recommend this place to anyone though.

Flies were everywhere behind the bar on a rainy day, and staff made no attempts to control the problem. I didn't notice until after I ordered my drink, which was okay, nothing special though. The place was packed full, so it must not usually be like this?

The Broadway Roastery does everything right. They are locally owned, have fair prices, wonderful staff, and are in a great location just off Broadway. The coffee is pretty good, although my drink of choice is the black cherry Italian soda with extra cream. Especially nice on a warm summer day. Their food is average and probably not worth the sticker price.

Usually there are a handful of tables open at any given point in time. Make sure to check around the corner in the back for space.
